SILLY CHILLY 2005

Silly Chilly is an annual event which is open to Rangers, Young Leaders, Guiders under 26 and Guides aged 13+. The venue as always is Guideacres and this year's event will take place overnight on March 19th - 20th , with arrival from 6.30 p.m. on Saturday and departure by 11.30 a.m. Sunday. The cost of this year's Silly Chilly will be £8.50.

The weekend is ALWAYS over-subscribed, so get your forms in early : you can download an application form from this website (right click here and select "Save target as...")

Please ask your Guider for a Health Form, or you can download one from this site (right click here and select "Save target as...") which you should complete and bring with you, adding permission to use Paracetamol and Elastoplast. The First Aider is Dianne Davies and the other named Guider is Caroline Selwyn-Jones.

You need to bring: A tent if you have one, sleeping bag, sleepmat or groundsheet and extra blankets; crock bag; change of footwear; nightwear and wash things; torch. You should wear Arctic Weather clothing with waterproofs, hat, gloves and sensible footwear. The one thing we can guarantee about the weather is that it WILL be cold, and very probably wet !!

Have tea before you come. A meal will be provided at about 11.00 p.m. and there will be breakfast in the morning.

Activities available will include a Wide Game, campfire, archery (yes, in the dark...) outdoor games and activities, a night hike, and crazy crafts : PLACES ARE LIMITED - DON’T MISS OUT ON THE FUN! SEND YOUR FORM IN RIGHT AWAY.
